Welcome to Buckzilla Outfitters, a small family-owned and operated business dedicated to providing exceptional outdoor hunting experiences. We are honored to continue the legacy of our founder Mark Locke. Mark was a loving husband to his wife, father, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend to many. Marks passion for hunting and wildlife management inspires our work every day.
Our hunting properties are nestled in the beautiful regions of northeast and northwest Missouri, specifically in Shelby, Monroe, Clinton, and Clay counties. With approximately 8,400 acres of diverse terrain, including woods, crops, CRP, food plots, fields, creeks, and drains, we offer a prime environment for hunting. We manage roughly 25 tracts of land, keeping our hunting groups small and rotating the land to ensure each hunt is unique and rewarding.
At Buckzilla Outfitters, we pride ourselves on offering DIY 100% fair chase hunts. This challenging experience means that if you harvest a big buck, you’ve truly earned it. As dedicated game managers, we ask that only bucks measuring at least 130 inches be harvested, whether by bow or gun.
We offer 5-day hunts with comfortable lodging in our charming older farmhouse. Our stands are a mix of ladders and ground blinds, strategically placed for optimal hunting. Our season runs from mid-September through mid-January.
Please note that we do not process your deer. However, we can connect you with local processors in the area to ensure your harvest is handled professionally.

Additionally, all hunters are required to read and abide by the laws of the Missouri Department of Conservation. This ensures that our hunting practices remain ethical and in compliance with state regulations.

Please note that Buckzilla Outfitters has a NO refund policy. However, if given written notice 30 days in advance, we will work with you to secure new dates in the event of an initial cancellation.
